Simply put, an E-book is an electronic book.

Just like a paper book, it has "pages" but unlike the average paper book:

• Photos can be linked so just by clicking on the image, you can go instantly to any website or image.

• Text can also be linked.

• An E-book can be an individuals entire website or a companies catalog page where you can buy or view a product or service.

• You can type text, add photos and create your own Instructional manual.

• You do NOT need a website to make an E-book

An E-book is created just like a regular book. But an E-book, instead of being printed on paper, is 'compiled'.

After you have finished, a special program will take all of the book's images, text, links, pages and 'compile' them into an actual readable format.

E-books can be read without being online (you do not need the internet) but if links are provided, then you really should be online.

Your E-books do NOT require the use of a 'Reader' such as Acrobat and others. It is a free-standing program which works best when viewed in Internet Explorer.
